Chris Waller has revealed that Red Tracer is likely to join stablemate Zoustar overseas this year as she targets the Group 1 Prix Rothschild in France.

The multiple Group 1 winner was last seen when taking out the Myer Classic at Flemington on Derby Day and will run in the Group 1 Queen Of The Turf Stakes in Autumn before heading overseas.
Waller said he had thought about taking Red Tracer to Royal Ascot for a mile race but thought it might be a bit testing for her.
“I looked further afield and then found a race in France that had pretty good prizemoney,” said Waller.

“This is a trip of a lifetime and it’s not necessarily a money making exercise, she is a very easy horse to train and generally can freshen up quickly” he said.
The Prix Rothschild will be run at Deauville on July 28 and is worth 300,000 Euros whilst Zoustar will step out in the Golden Jubilee Stakes or the Kings Stands Stakes with a possibility of even running in both.
Yesterday Red Tracer trialled at Rosehill and was quietly ridden by Nash Rawiller finishing third behind Words Are Weapons and ahead stablemates Boban and Catkins.
