CAULFIELD: Lankan Rupee (R7 No. 3 Trainer Mick Price) - has turned into a different horse since he's been gelded and his only defeat in the spring came when he had the thumps second-up. His trial win last week was impressive and he should land in the lead here and take a heap of running down.
EAGLE FARM: No Problem (R1 No. 1 Trainer L M Treloar) - had a couple of sighters at the end of last 2013 but hasn't put a foot wrong this year winning both starts. Hit the line strongly to beat Star Drop at the Gold Coast before again working home well from off the speed to catch Takes of Fashion over this course and distance. This looks easier than his last two and I'm surprised he hasn't come up into the red.
MOPRHETTVILLE PARKS: Ash Road (R5 No. 1 Trainer J E Hickmott) - was $5 to $12 when he stepped out for the first time at home at Murray Bridge on Australia Day. He drew 9 of 9, was last at the 800m, last at the 400m but finished off in style to run 2nd btn 1-lens. That's not a bad debut and certainly enough to warrant bringing him to town for a race like this. Has two tongue related gear changes that may prove significant.
